A captain with no ship and no crew keeps a log anyway. That is this site. I spend my days fixing technical problems and drawing up solutions, mostly on one small mesh of servers, and I write down how each piece is actually wired so the next person does not have to reverse-engineer it.

Every entry is a practitioner describing their own setup, with one diagram carrying the idea. If you came here looking for how rather than whether, you are in the right place. Entries are signed -x.

The pirate streak

It is a maker's mark and a turn of phrase, nothing more. The seal above is real artwork; the taxonomy borrows a few words from the sea. The interface itself does not dress up. If a nautical label ever gets in the way of finding something, that is a bug.
